3rd trimester

We are very excited to be in the 3rd trimester finally!

How far along?  30 weeks, 3 days

Size of Baby: TheBump says that at 31 weeks the babies are the size of pineapples!  The average size of baby is 15.2-16.7 inches long and 2.5-3.8 lbs.

At our doctor's appointment 2 weeks ago, baby girl was weighing in at 3.8 lbs and baby boy was weighing in at 3.4lbs.  Both are above average and growing at about a week ahead continuously!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Definitely gaining now.  Up 11 lbs.  In the grand scheme of things, I guess that's not bad since there are two babies growing in there, but the number on the scale is not pretty to look at!

Maternity Clothes:
I seem to be growing out of them.  I'm glad I have some longer shirts because my belly is huge!  I'm measuring at like 42 weeks!

Gender:
Boy AND Girl!

Belly Button In/Out: In kinda.  It is coming out and about half out.  Hubby likes to reach over and feel it all the time because he thinks it is sooo weird!

Stretch Marks: A few.  Guess this belly has to stretch somehow.

Labor Signs: Nope at least I don't think.

Movement: Yes, all the time fortunately.  I loooove feeling them move around.

Sleep: in 2-3 hour stretches, that's about it.

Cravings/Aversions: Fish, baked potatoes, and fresh salads are still yum.

Symptoms: Belly is growing, tailbone is aching, and super exhausted all the time!

Feeling: A little bit of anxiety.  I can hardly believe that we are almost done!

Best Moment this Week: Hearing heartbeats at the OB's office.

What I Miss: sleep, being able to walk without being exhausted

What I am Looking Forward To:  8 weeks.  I was informed this week babies will be evicted by 38 weeks.  So, that means in less than 8 weeks I will be holding and loving on my sweet little girl and boy!

Milestones: Babies growing, getting to the 3rd trimester

Baby Milestones: Babies are using all 5 senses now, lungs are more developed, and more defined time periods of awake and sleep time.

Next Appointment:  April 3rd to the specialist and OB I go.  From that point on, I see a doctor at least once a week until they get here!
