So we have a date! I start Clomid this Friday. I go in on Monday for a HSG exam (super scary!!) Then, I go back to the doctor on August 6 for a sonogram to see if I am responding to the Clomid. Let's do this!!
We just ask for any thoughts and prayers you can spare as we go through this process and that all we need is one medicated cycle to make this happen!!

Quick update
So just a quick update for those that read. This is a bit of another TMI post so close now if you don't want to know.
We survived Mother's day and Father's day with broken hearts. It may be stupid, but I just wanted someone to acknowledge me on Mother's day because for a short while I was going to be a mom. And no one did. And it sucked.
Moving forward, we are moving towards fertility meds. Super sucks. We are currently in the waiting period of a cycle. If it is positive, great, otherwise, we move on. Mike had a SA (semen analysis) this week. He is very proud to announce that there is nothing wrong with his count. LOL! In fact, the lady told him that it was one of the best counts she has seen in a while. Soo... I guess that eliminates one road block!
Next step is a HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) for me. Basically it is an x-ray of the uterus and fallopian tubes where a die is inserted through it to see if there are any blockages or anything wrong. I am suuuuper nervous about this. I just don't know if I can handle anything else being wrong with me.
Assuming the HSG is normal, we will move on to a medicated cycle with clomid.
I'm thankful to have a plan. It makes me feel like I am at least doing something by at least knowing what is next. For someone who is a planner, like I am, having absolutely no control over something, like fertility, is a nightmare. Dear God, please guide us through this journey. Amen.
On another, unrelated note, Mike and I have created another blog to review new places we try. You can follow us HERE!
