I am normally not a why me kind of person but right now I am. I should'nt be because the worst is over, hubby is out of surgery. His surgeon is top of the line and was able to repair his mitral valve of his heart as hoped for. That is the main thing and we are so grateful. He was going to do some other repairs but Mike's body had enough so they were unable to. But, as I watch my husband lie here in pain and be miserable i find myself questioning why. Why is the man of my dreams, the most amazing husband ever, such a good hearted person going through something like this? I guess only God knows why.

I am so glad your husband made it out of surgery with a fixed valve. That is GREAT news. I hope he is painfree as soon as possible and you two can get on with celebrating the surgery's successes. I will be thinking of you both.
I'm also glad he made it out of a successful surgery. :) Keep your head up, things will/are getting better!
